How crazy is this? I read this early this morning and got excited thinking OMG Renko’s alive!!!!! Then I re-read it and saw its a recent victim of murder so there went that idea. This episode sounds good though.
I’m drawing a blank as to who this person is. My guess is it is someone the audience has never met.
I’m thinking it’s Arkady. They think he is dead and he pops up.
Just like seeing Arkady…..
Arkady is the only character on the guest cast that we know (Joelle excepted). Maybe he fakes his own death after talk in S6E4 about the Cold War heating up & old spies like him and Hetty being valuable…which could link into the mole arc?
As Joelle is in this too, I’m guessing she is the one who has a connection with someone from Callen’s past (Arkady). Or maybe this is their break up episode?
I hope they plant some more seeds for the Deeks IA arc. I wonder if the season finale will be Callen/Deeks related?
My thoughts too – what if Arkady fakes his own death just to escape from some old enemies?! In a way I hope this episode is just about him…
But seeing Joelle is in it too: would she know Arkady from the past as well?

He to first said she was good, then he became Tony the Tiger and she was great.
Maybe he really doesn’t know how she is and hasn’t seen her since “Humbug”, just like the viewers 😉 LOL at “Tony the Tiger”

Sounds like there might be a Joelle/Arkady connection. Between Rage and Beacon it sounds like there is some good stuff coming up for Callen fans like me.
Agree, I believe it is Arkady too! Yeah to Arkady. Unfortunately I think he is the connection to Joelle. 🙁
Those sanctions do sound as a way to bring up the mole story.
And what if Arkady was shot by Joelle and appears from being declared dead to hunting Joelle?
Or
What if Joelle discovers that Arkady is a friend of Callen and he discovers she is responsibe for the breach? Oh, don’t you love to guess what’ll be the plot which we’ll see in the end?! I do 🙂

I am excited to see Arkady in this episode. Who the old acquaintance is, we’ll be guessing until the episode shows, so I’ll stick with, I have no idea. The surprise romance for Callen is suppose to be coming late in the season and linked to a character we know and love. We guessed from the beginning it would be Arkady, so who knows? It could either be Callen and Joelle break up or that her name is really related to Arkady. Interesting times ahead for the rest of S6.
I can’t wait to see this episode, I want to know what is the connection between Arkady and Joelle and i really hope a break up episode between her and Callen, i don’t think she is the right girl for him
The person I could see Callen get involved with is Ziva David from NCIS; she has fire … maybe a long distance relationship. I like Callen’s hardened side; I just can’t see him living in a home with cheesy Christmas decorations, a dinning room table, and decorative pillows on his bed.
Don’t watch NCIS so can’t comment on Ziva. But I too like Callen’s hardened side. So much more to him than the show has shown. And is there anything sexier than an angry, vengeful, gun carrying, protective G. Callen? I say no 🙂
