Craig Robert Young on Hawaii Five-0

Less than 24 hours after the first part of the Hawaii 5.0 / NCISLA:Los Angeles crossover aired, read what Craig Robert Young has to say about his much awaited comeback as Chris O’Donnell’s Romanian nightmare : the one and only Dracul Comescu.

– It took us 20 episodes since (03×01) “Lange, H” in NCIS:Los Angeles to see you back in the show. Must have been a big surprise to discover that you would actually be back in a crossover with… Hawaii 5.0 ?

Touch of Death (3×21) review by @mokibobolink for @tvequals

The Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles crossover event concluded last night in NCISLA’s “Touch of Death.” Pretty clever that both episodes had the same title, with H50′s being in Hawaiian.

When I reviewed the first part of the crossover on Monday, I wished for more crossovers and now I have to second that. In fact I nearly demand it. I need another crossover simply because there is too much that I know we missed without Steve being there. Danny and Deeks messing with each other was pure gold to watch and I have to wonder who Steve would have interacted with the most. Would he have flirted with Kensi? Maybe given Callen some grief in that Navy Seal way that Sam does? For now we can only wonder.

But getting back to last night’s episode, Danny and Chin fly out to LA on the hunt for the deadly virus that could conceivably take out the whole world if no one stops the person behind it. They start their search with Dr. Proderman, who is played by Rob Benedict and who I adore. In fact I was almost a little sad that he didn’t turn out to be their head bad guy, but only a lowly bad guy. I would like to have seen more of him. After a lot of twists and turns, the team finds that it’s a Dr. Rachel Holden behind the plot; a woman who thinks that wiping out a good portion of the earth’s population is a good idea. Talk about a loon.

Touch of Death (3×21) review by @phillydi

May sweeps are here and CBS throws its hat in the ring this week presenting a two-night crossover event with NCISLA and Hawaii Five-0. I have to admit I rarely watch H50 but was excited to see how the two shows would combine resources to showcase their talent and exotic locations. As Shane Brennan said, “You don’t have to watch both to love what’s going to happen.”

This time Callen and Sam are called over to the Islands to team up with the gang at H50. Together they hunt down an old nemesis who threatens to release a deadly virus into the populations. It was great to see Craig Robert Young back in action again as Dracul Comescu. The last time we saw Dracul he was in Romania, bloody and beaten and presumably one of the last surviving member of the Comescu family. You could see the hatred return to Callen’s face when Danno talks about Comescu. Next thing you know, our guys are drawn back into the drama of the blood feud.
