Linda Hunt As Hetty Lange On New CBS Hit Show ‘Scorpion’


SCORPION, inspired by a true story, is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. As Homeland Security’s new think tank, O’Brien’s “Scorpion” team includes Toby Curtis, an expert behaviorist who can read anyone; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, a statistics guru. Pooling their extensive technological knowledge to solve mind-boggling predicaments amazes federal agent Cabe Gallo, who shares a harrowing history with O’Brien. However, while this socially awkward group is comfortable with each other’s humor and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they rely on Paige Dineen, who has a young, gifted son, to translate the world for them. At last, these nerdy masterminds have found the perfect job: a place where they can apply their exceptional brainpower to solve the nation’s crises, while also helping each other learn how to fit in.

But sometimes even geniuses need a little help…

So in episode six of Scorpion’s first season “True Colors” Hetty chimes in to help the eccentric bunch in her beloved matter-of-factly manner.

We even get to learn something new about Hetty…

    Heard about it but never understood the connection so far. So, Hetty is Hetty 🙂 I think it would be fun to have Eric in the show as well. Perhaps they already met before in a case – who knows?

    I loved it! I love this new show! Having Hetty on the show was awesome! All the episodes have been great, very entertaining, love the cast and characters! Bravo! And, Bravo to Ms. Hetty Lange :-)!

    I watch Scorpion, but i don’t know why. Maybe I have too much spare time. Certainly not for the reality of the show :D.

    But, I think it would benefit NCIS:LA or both shows for that matter if there were a crossover of these 2 shows. The 3-part crossover on NBC (Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Law and Order(?)) was a success in ratings for all of them, as was the Flash-Arrow crossover on CW.

    I would like to watch another crossover with the mothership NCIS, I think both teams evolved since the last time they met. That could be fun.
