On Twitter, fangirls still send the picture to each other. (They’d send other pictures of that shirt, but there aren’t any others to send. Just the one. A few variations, but sometimes those come out blurry. I’ve received that one picture more times than I’d care to admit. I grinned wildly each time.)

The Caribbean shirt was so famous, it had a fan fic written about it. Don’t look at me like that– I’m SERIOUS! The question about the vitality of that shirt was in question. I believe Sam was begging Hetty to incinerate it. Something about it being a chick-magnet…

The Caribbean blue shirt was one of those awesome one-offs that true Callen fans live for. The perfect color with the perfect eyes on the perfect day in the perfect senario. Whoever dressed him in that? All of Team Callen owes that individual a great debt of gratitude.
If that shirt were ever to be auctioned, I’m scared of how much money it would bring in. I sincerely hope that whichever individual has it in their posession understands the level of valuable they are touching…

Yes, I’m getting to it. Let’s recap first.

The one Callen wore while bringing his undercover ex-CIA ex-wife to justice.
Sidenote: Maybe that’s why women across the world swooned. Not only was G wearing it, next to a body of water, but he was taking care of something he was SO OVER in the process. Maybe that’s what made it so hott. I mean, hello, the chick tried to seduce him into helping her THREE TIMES! How dare she attempt to use the past flames to get what she wanted. Anyone else worried that she would’ve ditched Callen again whenever she was finished with him? Grr.
Oh yeah, the reason I’m bringing all of this up again.
So, I noticed that there’s a whole slew of new NCIS: Los Angeles fans joining the movement at all times. New fans who don’t know about G Callen and THE shirt. All they know is that Hunter died and Densi is a rough thing and the bromance is hilarious. The beginnings are something us older (more mature?) fans talk about among ourselves.
This can’t be allowed to happen. G Callen fans around the world must know about that day, that moment, that COLOR.

How come a color as cool&fresh as it is looks so hot when he’s wearing it?
It is like Christelle said in the picture, ‘so perfect’.
And I still do think they did it on purpose: having Callen to wear ‘the shirt’ only once so we still can drool all around and about it. It’s far too magical and it does the trick so well.
Chick-magnet it is (I do remember your story!!).
But shhtt… we Crazy-Callen-Clan know already, and should keep it a bit quiet perhaps. The less we share it with, the more we get.
Tell you a secret? Have looked in shops several times if I could fine a buttondown just like that, never have been able to find it. Good or Bad?

That shirt, I watch that episode over and over again, my Marine has no idea why he owns three shirts in that color….I love that shirt.
But with his back turned….even I dream!

I would have to agree that this is prolly my fave shirt of his simply because of the color! Such a rich gorgeous color and with Chris’ skin tone and those deadly blue eyes….there goes the swooning again 😉

Love THE SHIRT and the posts on THE SHIRT. It certainly is one-of-a-kind as is G. Callen. His tanned-slightly facial-haired face, THE SMIRK, the sunglasses, the hair, and of course those eyes when the sunglasses come off make THE SHIRT what is is: beautiful 🙂 It also had more than one button undone. Too often Callen only undoes one button on his shirts (Yes, I notice things like that when watching the show) but THE SHIRT had two undone exposing more of his beautifully tanned skin. Long live THE SHIRT!

THE SHIRT. I think we all grinned, squeed, gasped…yes. In fact, I still am. It’s making this horrid rain storm into a slight drizzle.
Only one thing to say about that: Death by hotness.
All I can say (after nearly fainting at the sight of gorgeous Callen in THAT shirt) is… Shane Brennan (and yes, that includes ALL NCISLA scriptwriters) you better bring back that shirt again!!
Well since I was the one that devoted an entire mult chaptered fanfic to “The Shirt” I think it goes without saying how I feel about it.
My gracious does he look hot in that shirt or what. If I could get away with it I would blow the photo up to wall size and put it on my wall.

Thank you for posting this in Callen’s corner. That shirt has always been burned into my memory. The color is gorgeous and it looks so good on Chris. Blue, not matter what the shade, is definitely Chris’s color.
Chris O’Donnell has beautiful colors: skin, eyes, hair.

I always think what a crap product placement when I see this pic, no kidding. Maybe that’s why this shirt is not my all-time fav on Callen (love it more when he wears a pullover or really smart shirt and suit, don’t know why). But never mind, of course I like the color and how it fits him.

I clicked onto the CC post, saw the picture, and immediately started looking around the room for anyone who might have the slightest clue as to how to conduct CPR. Only problem, if they knew I had just had heart failure over a picture of a shirt, they might just stand there and shake their heads. (Unless they happen to be a Callen fan. Then they’d need rescued, as well.)
Then after I realized I wasn’t actually going to die, I joined in with all the other “squee-ers!” Today, I think there was a SQUEE (over a shirt, mind you) that could be heard the world over.
Yessss! I, for one, have had several conversations with Callen fans over THE shirt. And having it on the show only once? Maybe some sort of mind control thing? Just saying.
And yes, Keviana, I think the fact that he was not smitten by her seductive tactics made the whole package just all that much more attractive. And she WOULD have dumped him again, after she got what she wanted from him. She didn’t deserve to get to even LOOK at that shirt… not even for one second!!! So there, Tracy.

Haha… I missed the whole first season and the first half of the second before I discovered the wonderfulness that is Deeks… So I missed that shirt on Callen. And while I am a Deeks fan there was a time where I was a HUGE Chris O’Donnell fan. Like Three Musketeers drooling fan 🙂 So I can certainly have a pause and drool at him in that shirt…

OH OH and I should mention… Deeks looked incredibly hot as Max Gentry and he made a re-appearance this past season as Max… so that means there is hope that your gorgeous BLUE SHIRT may make its own re-appearance! especially since its been a while since they focused on Callen and he’s due for some more past discovery I think!!
