NCIS: LA question: How does/is Hetty handling everything that is going on? — Anna
If by “everything” you mean the massively traumatic events that we first saw in the finale and will continue to see in the premiere, then … probably not well.
My gut reaction is to be unhappy about the time jump. I was hoping it would be no more than a month, but I suppose the outcome will be nearly the same. I guess many Densi fans were hoping to see more into the recovery process. Regardless, as long as they are addressing the issues that impacted each character, we’ll be happy. A return by Nate was always going to be a necessity – for all of them.
That’s what I’ve been afraid of: how DOES Hetty handle all of it? She needs a team that can rely upon each other, that is sound&safe and has each other’s back. After what happened, they’re far from it!
It really is going to be a difficult situation for the entire team including Hetty.
But then, I like to convince myself that they’ll be able to handle these issues somehow – they always did! With last year’s season finale everybody was wondering how Callen would get out of having shot the Chameleon publicly and if the team would have to be shut down. But then Shane Brennan came up with a solution that left every fan happy and things at NCIS LA back to normal.
I am kind of hoping (wishing!) he does a similar thing in season 5…
