Is he undercover? I can’t decide if I like it or I like the buzzed cut better. Definitely like the facial hair though!!

not really sure about G’s new look, but as long as they dress him in all shades of blue, I’m on board.

I guess he is undercover (deep, means long time; maybe again the time gap during the summer) or something happend at the sub and he needs some time alone. But more likely deep undercover.
And no, I don’t like it. I like the short hair and and shorter facial hair much better. I am happy this is only for a short time (since we have seen pics from the episode COD directed in May with short hair).

I was thinking that maybe it has to do with how ever long Callen and Sam are trapped on that sub…. But I don’t think hair grows that fast now that I really think about it lol 🙂

Hmm maybe he’s deep undercover. It just doesn’t look right. The hair looks very wiggy don’t you think? Just doesn’t go at all with G Callen’s persona. His usual look does! I don’t like it. It works for Marty Deeks not Callen!

Im guessing/hoping this means a long undercover assignment, those are great storylines.
It couldn’t be from the sub because they already filmed it, and this hair can’t be on the show too long because the episode he directed will be a later episode, and he has his normal callen look there too.

Skippy is right, it’s a temporary look seeing they filmed a future episode for S6 earlier in the year. I think it’s the one COD directs and he looked his usual self back then. I think most fans think that the new look makes him look too much like his Grey’s Anatomy character, Finn and not Callen. But it’s fun to see Shane Brennan mix things up a little with such a dramatic change for a character, and what better time to do it, but over the summer break. We’ve all been hanging out for more undercover work for our agents, and I think they’ve heard us and delivered a completely new look for Callen. He and Deeks could alway partner up and become shaggy 1 and shaggy 2. Lol!

If he takes his shirt off, I might be able to assess the situation better 😉 Seriously though, the mountain man facial hair has to go. Keep the longer head hair if looking for a change. I LOVE the buzz cut and the shorter facial hair so I hope he goes back to that 🙂
