16.9 MILLION???!!! That's AMAZING for a new show! Congrats to SB and Co.
I'm not trying to compare the original and LA or make it a competition, but ONLY to put it into perspective, in its first season, the highest ratings NCIS ever got was 13.5 mill. And Melrose Place used to be a really popular show, I thought, so you would think that they would get higher ratings than they do. It even topped the new epi of Lost, which is supposedly a hugely popular show and it's even in it's final season, and Biggest Loser, which is also a very popular show.
So glad that SB and publicists won awards for running the show. They don't get enough credit for what they do and the stories that they've created.
Yeah, it's really amazing how good the ratings are. I think CBS has created a “perfect Tuesday schedule”.
