“Deeks and Kensi realize the team knows about their relationship”
Really, this is absurd, their public kiss wasn’t noticed? Hetty knows all, butt did miss this one?
Haha, totally unbelievable! There must be different reason.
According to me it’s about the public kiss. Maybe episode 6×17 brings something more at the end but I don’t think so. I thought that Sam certainly saw the kiss at the ice rink (Callen was skating so I’m not sure), but he wasn’t talking about it at all, so maybe he didn’t see anything. But it’s strange, that the team will from nothing to nothing reveal their relationship and talk about it. There has to be something what happened in that episode or episode before (6×17). Or from tweet “somebody is tailing Kensi”, so maybe this “somebody” saw something interesting. I’m looking forward this episode and I’m really interested how the team will reveal their relationship.
Yeah, I’m not buying that the team didn’t know abt the relationship before as well… but maybe it started to affect their work now – so Hetty had to seperate them… just a thought…
Callen partners with Deeks! Can’t wait for that.
Yeah, I think that’s the first time they are partnered up. (I’m not sure though)
Yeah, I’m more excited to see Callen and Dees partner up. But Callen will probably be annoyed that he is not with Sam. And he might take on a “big brother” type personality because of Kensi. I am excited to see how they work together.
As the camera shifts in Humbug from Joelle to the team you can see Kensi holding on to Deeks when talking to the others, so seriously they did already know.
And in “Line of Duty” when Deeks makes the “honeymoon” joke Sam and Callen reply “Don’t you two wanna go there.” So they def knew.
And for that matter I just think of Hetty’s cactus story and her getting Deeks the “sunshine and gunpowder”. She knows. 😀
I think it is more about the pairing up with the others that makes me think. It will be an interesting turn out and I am sure in need of Deeks/Callen for a while now

And how Kensi and Deeks are going to deal with the fact that the team knows that they are a couple
(I mean, how can they not know? They kissed on the ice skating rank, in front of a lot of people).

Of course everyone knows about it, they are not blind.
No doubt about it.
In this case I (hate say that, but yes) understand Hetty.

If you remember first Densi “fight” (most likely only disagreement) “we are all day together, we work together”. Then you realise, Hetty maybe want help them, little bit.

Split them for “not be all day together” reason, will be best for them.
Just for while, for calm down, give them time for thinking, what they can lose, if them relationship compromise their work.
I completely agree. I’m also not buying that the team didn’t know and now they miraculously do and Hetty feels the need to seperate them after ignoring it for three months. From what I’ve seen their relationship didn’t affect their work at all. Most of the time it actually felt like nothing has changed since Humbug. Like the ice rink moment didn’t happen. They might just be that good about being professional at work. Idk. The banter is kind of softer, they have these small amazing moments, and big personal moments like the ones from Expiration Date, but none of those had any adverse effects on their work as of yet.
There is no way that the team doesn’t at the very least suspect something. The above mentioned puplic kisses at the ice rink in full view of Callen and Sam. Then the absolutely amazing scene in the bullpen at the end of Expiration Date. Granted, Sam and Callen weren’t there but Kensi and Deeks were openly talking about their relationship, not bothering to keep their voices down. So anyone passing by the bullpen or walking on the gallery above could have overheared them. Add to that Sam’s statement from a while back when he told Deeks that ‘they always know where their teammates are’ (yeah right) and it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Oh yeah, and the also above mentioned ‘you two wanna go there?’ comment as a response to Deeks’ honeymoon joke. I also want to go back a bit further before they became a couple and remind you of the Fozen Lake bullpen scene when first Deeks and then Kensi couldn’t and wouldn’t explain themselves, basically fleeing up to ops as fast as they could, not without that awkward moment right before headding up the stairs and Sam’s and Callen’s reactions to that entire moment.
So unless something happens in the upcoming episode that might set things in motion for Fighting Shadows there are not many options left how they could make us believe that the team didn’t already know and why Kensi and Deeks should be seperated now and why Hetty didn’t call them out sooner.

Maybe it is the fact Hetty switches up the partners, that make Densi question why and the only reason they can come up with, is that they are a couple. Plus everyone else assumes that reasoning too. The actual reason is whatever was tweeted by JPK?
Oh well… maybe Hetty decides that it’d might be better to seperate those two for once. It makes them more vulnerable in my opinion.
Never mind: Hetty makes me a happy camper. We finally get Deeks and Callen work together, something I have hoped for over nearly 100 episodes 🙂

I think that the team knows about the relationship, and has known for some time. I mean, they all suspected something in that direction already after Recovery, when Deeks and Kensi were acting strange after their night together.
So maybe what’s meant in the tweet is that the team tell Kensi and Deeks that they already know about the relationship, when the two of them decide to tell the team officially. Which should get interesting because they are taking a sort of break from it at the moment, right?
Anyway, any episode that is dealing with the Densi relationship is good for me! 😉
Also, I think that the title “Fighting Shadows” sounds really interesting!
