Thanks to this tweet by Pillar Entertainment on October 24th we learned that we will see more of Callen’s Dad – played by Anthony Fanelli – in Season Five of NCIS Los Angeles.

HUGE congrats 2 our LA client,Anthony Fanelli 4r booking a recurring role on NCIS: Los Angeles.He plays Chris O’Donnell’s dad in flashbacks!

    So excited about that!
    It means that we get to see more of Callen’s family history/mystery. The everlasting search of his identity is part of the NCIS-LA show, and of many of the fanfiction stories that are Callen-centered too. So, all in all, thank you, Anthony Fanelli 🙂

    I’m looking forward to this too, and hopefully Shane Brennan will reveal some answers and pose more questions (frustrating though they are).

    Hope there is more danger in his search for his father, I love the lone wolf / dangerous / lethal Callen we get when he gets a sniff of info on his family…

    And we can’t forget that Janvier is lurking in prison, biding his time until he can exact his revenge on Callen. I don’t think that will be this season though.
