Tonight the team was out to rescue a kidnapped man who, as it turns out, was not only kidnapped because of his teenage son, but also saved by the kid as well.
Meanwhile, back in the office, things felt a little crowded to me. Between Hunter still being around, Hetty trying to run things in the background, and the new chick working with Eric, it all was a bit much. I really felt myself wishing for the good old days where Hetty ruled all from her high roost, Eric and Nell were busy in the computer room acting as backup for the team, leaving Sam and Callen and Deeks and Kensi to run around and chase the bad guys.
It probably didn’t help that tensions were pretty high, too. Hunter sure isn’t making any efforts to be liked by anyone and that isn’t making Callen comfortable at all. He already doesn’t like new people so I couldn’t say that I blamed him at all for getting in Hunter’s face a few times.
