In TNT’s brand new scripted drama, King & Maxwell, Jon Tenney (The Closer) and Rebecca Romijn (X-Men) play private investigators Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, characters originally seen in the bestselling series of books by author David Baldacci, and developed for series by NCIS: Los Angeles creator, Shane Brennan.

The Closer co-star Jon Tenney is back at TNT as the male lead of the network’s pilot King And Maxwell. The project, from CBS TV Studios and NCIS honcho Shane Brennan, is adapted from characters created by bestselling author David Baldacci.
The duo talk about their love of great ’80s TV, getting wardrobe notes and not being able to delegate “the crappy stuff.”

In August 2011 news were that NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles executive producer Shane Brennans production company had purchased the rights to the David Baldacci’s work, although he won’t reveal which novel would be the focus.
Now TNT picked up the drama project “King and Maxwell” !!
