Shane Brennan turns David Baldacci “King & Maxwell” books into TV show


In TNT’s brand new scripted drama, King & Maxwell, Jon Tenney (The Closer) and Rebecca Romijn (X-Men) play private investigators Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, characters originally seen in the bestselling series of books by author David Baldacci, and developed for series by NCIS: Los Angeles creator, Shane Brennan.

The show premieres this Monday June 10th at 10/9c on TNT.

King and Maxwell by Shane Brennan ordered by TNT

In August 2011 news were that NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles executive producer Shane Brennans production company had purchased the rights to the David Baldacci’s work, although he won’t reveal which novel would be the focus.

Now TNT picked up the drama project “King and Maxwell” !!

“…a one-hour drama from NCIS: Los Angeles boss Brennan, revolves around crime novelist David Baldacci’s characters Sean King and Michelle Maxwell from his best-selling novels. Sean and Michelle are ex-secret service agents who have unique skill sets that give them an upper hand on suspeccts and law enforcement. Like Trooper, the CBS TV Studios project was originally set up at CBS.”
