Shane Brennan, who helped NCIS celebrate the holiday season in notable ways when running the original series, promises a “pretty amazing Christmas episode” for the spin-off. Just what sort of present will fans get? “Christmas episodes are those kind of episodes where we’re allowed to sort of push the envelope — and we certainly push it a little with this one,” he shared. “There’s some fun stuff in it, and there’s a pretty spectacular action sequence set on Christmas Eve, in downtown L.A. It is not to be missed.”
