It seems Daniela Ruah is fully back on set and portraying her character Kensi Blye alongside Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) again. Blye was away from set for a few weeks around the birth of her son River. But production planned wisely and filmed ahead so her character Kensi Blye appears in every episode of NCIS Los Angeles Season Five. Episode “Three Hearts” was written by Dave Kalstein and Kyle Harimoto and is directed by Diana C. Valentine.
