Wow!!! Kensi turning into her dad. Now that’s interesting. Granger saw what this job did to her father and his family so I would hate to see him prompting Kensi towards that direction.

Hello people! I see the promo looks spectacular, granger kensi requesting to have to kill the white ghost? will be his father, the father of deeks, sabatino?? Interestingly, I think this balnco ghost is related to kensi somehow?? something was sent to Afghanistan for this mission! kensi will give us several surprises!! I hope things do not change when you return deeks !!!!

Where the questions marks are, I think Grangers says: “Locals call him ‘White Ghost’ ”

What a pleasant surprise to see Kensi! Yay! Poor Deeks…

I don’t get it. Of all the snipers in Afghanistan and NCIS in general, why did they have to drag Kensi across the world to kill the guy?

If he is indeed someone she knows, then that makes her task even harder.

I haven’t watched the promo yet, so I’m going by what the other respondents have written and by what was presented in “Frozen Lake”. I believe Granger told Hetty that “you knew this day would come” or something to that effect.

There are a few scenarios that have popped into my head and they deal with why Kensi was specifically chosen for this mission. I believe it’s because they are going to use her to get close to the target and she has some sort of connection … her father has been ‘dead’ for fifteen years, I doubt it’s him … but what if it’s Jack? There’s an old saying about if you get thrown off a horse, you get right back on … and I wonder if the reason Jack disappeared on Kensi had something to do with his PTSD. What if he went back over to Afghanistan to try and face his demons but once there, he got mixed up in something he couldn’t get away from. I wonder if the “White Ghost” is nothing more than someone trying to fight the War on Terror but started using tactics that are no better than the ‘bad guys’ and the U.S. government has decided to shut him down. Kensi is probably the one person that could get close enough to either bring him in or ‘deal’ with him.

Anyway, that’s the idea that popped into my head … but, as usual, I’m probably dead wrong.

Jericho, we share the same idea. But if it’s indeed Jack and they want him dead, it would be cruel of them to use Kensi as a bait.

She is “damaged” enough! She doesn’t need the burden of murdering her ex fiancee!

I am seriously gonna hate Hetty and Granger if this is their great plan.

    1. Jericho Steele

I agree it would be cruel … but I’ve been surprised thus far this season. I hope it isn’t that way … just one of those ideas that popped into my head.

Wow, interesting theory jericho! That thought didn’t even cross my mind. Wouldn’t that be something if that’s what it turns out to be. I really hope it’s not, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
I also wonder how the show is going to handle two storylines in each episode, considering that Kensi is in one time zone & the team is in another? Because when it’s like noon in LA, it’s not noon in the middle east. So also interested to see how the producers play that out.

    1. Jericho Steele

I’m not quite sure how they will handle it … they’ll only have Daniella for a few episodes before her maternity leave kicks end so they’ll have to do a lot in a very short amount of time.

They actually shot all of Kensi’s scenes with Granger ahead of time within a few days. I’m also wondering if Kensi is being sent after Jack.

I think it is a very interesting dimenssion added to these episodes, having two stories in parallel. It just makes everything more interesting. I also think Kensi was chosen for a reason, and the reason is not her relationship with Deeks, but it is something related to this White Ghost.

  9. Andres

I noticed that Deeks was wearing 2 watches on his hand, does that mean he is following Kensi in time ? 🙂

    1. Jan

That’s a good catch Andres, though it’s hard to tell from the promo if it is actually a watch, and I don’t know whether Deeks knows exactly where (in what time zone) Kensi is.

If it’s not a watch, maybe it’s an NCIS LA Magazine wristband. 🙂

That old guy is singlehandedly flooring ‘our’ guys?! Hope they will be fine.
Granger knows that Kensi’s father was a sniper and so is she. But I really don’t know why they’re sending her in there instead of a military guy. Could it be she has to hunt down somebody she knows, from the past? That would sound cruel indeed…

    1. Jericho Steele

      Cruel? Yes.

Makes a great story line? Absolutely.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Maybe there is a simple answer about Kensi. Granger and her father were friends. And now, Granger needs a trustful agent. Donald Blye was a trustful soldier and a marksman, and Kensi is alike her father.
I think Granger has more faith with Kensi than the others, like Callen, Sam, or Deeks, because of her father. I don’t think that she has to hunt down a familiar face, like her ex-fiancé…

    1. Jericho Steele

Maybe … but I think it will be deeper than that. She has the skills and maybe Granger’s trust, but there are probably a few other people out there that could say the same thing. I think Kensi was selected because of something or someone she knew before … at least that’s my crazy idea.

I agree with Jericho, Hetty says at the beginning of the last episode that the price is higher, because I think Deeks and Kensi have a relationship, they knew very well that she would have chosen, then you just need something …. and then in the various spoilers tell us that Kensi back from the mission, about halfway through the season and then, with a fat complication and I do not think it Sabatino, but what I was forced to do. whatever his target, which could also be Jack, why not, even he seemed destined to reappear …..
    we’ll see

Who cares I thought that Kensi was gone from the show because Hetty said that she was transferred indefinitely. Now she is in the next episode WTF!!! I hate her charter I was happy with the ending of the last episode with her leavening and now there bringing her back in an episode!! I think that it would be awesome if they kill off her character.
