EXCLUSIVE via deadline.com: There has been an accident on the set of the CBS drama NCIS: Los Angeles during the filming of a key episode, which serves as a backdoor pilot for a planted spinoff series. Deadline’s ellie Andreeva has learned that a steadicam operator [editor: like one pictured here on the right side of the photo] was pinned against something last night, suffering serious injuries. He is currently in the hospital. Production was shut down immediately following the accident. It is resuming today. Written by Shane Brennan, the spinoff episode of NCIS: LA is toplined by Kim Raver and John Corbett.
