Shane Brennan inks deal with CBS

He’s the man behind two of CBS’ most successful shows, and he’s staying in the Eye fold for at least another three years.

Shane Brennan, exec producer of “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles,” has inked a three-year overall deal with CBS TV Studios valued in the low eight-figure range.

Accord covers Brennan’s services as exec producer on “NCIS” and “NCIS: Los Angeles,” and it includes a development component.

Under the deal, Brennan will remain at the helm of “NCIS: Los Angeles” next season but hand day-to-day showrunning duties on the mothership to exec producer Gary Glasberg. Glasberg joined “NCIS” last season and quickly became a key lieutenant for Brennan, who has divided his time between the “NCIS” set in Valencia and the “NCIS: L.A.” stage on the Paramount lot.
